Architect Kevin Akey commissioned a custom natural stone panel and wainscot for this project. Realstone Pewter Accentstone is a blue-grey limestone that was originally only available as a Shadowstone and a Ledgestone profile. The homeowner wanted larger pieces of stone in the panels due to the scale of the project and worked with Realstone to create a custom product that would complete their dream home. The resulting product pairs beautifully with the smooth wood panels and glass.
This luxurious home welcomes guests with a grand entrance flanked with stone pillars, glass and a furry welcoming crew. The color of the stone is pulled through to the roof tiles and patio pavers and reflects the cool blue of Cass Lake in the rear of the property.
The eight-car garage blends seamlessly into the design of the home due to the clean lines and the minimal number of surface materials.
